Acid Reign "It was really important to use an extremely simple
"magic
flute" melody (like the
one repeated over and over at the end
of the song)
as the underlying, recurring theme. A
melody that could
send us into a soft,
temporary dream state, one that stuck with us
after the song finished."
Space Around The Feel Station "This was an idea I hit Ernest (Washed
Out) up with a few
months back, knowing he was a Slowdive fan and
thinking it might be cool to relate the tracks by blending them
and using
one verse from each. I was surprised they locked in so well-- but I
guess not really that surprised."
